WHOLESALE MANAGER (US & CANADA)

APPARIS is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Wholesale Manager to oversee all wholesale categories across the U.S. and Canada. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role serves as the primary liaison between the brand and our specialty store and department store partners.This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about sales, relationship-building, and brand growth.

The Wholesale Manager will take full ownership of account management and play a critical role in expanding Apparis’ wholesale presence. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on: comfortable building long-term growth strategies while executing day-to-day sales operations with precision.

Key tasks:

  • Lead markets twice yearly in New York and Los Angeles, including booking, planning, and conducting market appointments
  • Build and distribute seasonal linesheets ahead of market. Enter and manage orders in JOOR, including follow-ups and post-market selling
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key specialty and department store accounts
  • Proactively pursue new accounts through all channels (market, store visits, calls, industry events, social outreach, etc.)
  • Partner with Creative and E-commerce teams to provide feedback on collections, identify assortment gaps
  • Propose and co-lead sales-driving initiatives: pop ups, exclusives, collaborations, capsules
  • Maintain consistent in-season communication with retailers; drive and process in-season reorders
  • Own data accuracy across ERP and order management systems (SKUs, pricing, product data integrity)
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to ensure orders ship on time and accurately
  • Set up, monitor, and analyze dropship programs and performance by retailer
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on sales performance versus budget
    Collaborate cross-functionally to inform and build the seasonal buy following market

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to drive growth within a wholesale channel
  • Strong execution skills with comfort operating in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Brings fresh ideas, inspiration, and innovative approaches to help evolve the brand
