APPARIS is seeking a Freelance TikTok Content Creator to lead, concept and create short-form video content that feels native to TikTok while staying true to the APPARIS brand. This role is equal parts creative and strategic; someone who understands how to translate brand storytelling into content that performs on-platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Execution

• Concept, shoot, and edit TikTok-first content on a weekly basis
• Create videos that feel organic, trend-aware, and native to the platform
• Translate APPARIS collections, textures, and styling into engaging short-form content
• Capture both planned and reactive/trend-driven content

Creative Direction & Ideation

• Pitch weekly content ideas aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments
• Interpret brand direction into TikTok-specific storytelling
• Balance aspirational brand positioning with relatable, platform-native content

Trend & Performance Awareness

• Stay ahead of TikTok trends, sounds, formats, and creators
• Identify opportunities for APPARIS to participate in trends in a way that feels authentic
• Iterate based on performance and engagement insights

On-Brand Execution

• Maintain a strong understanding of APPARIS’ visual identity and tone
• Ensure all content reflects a refined, elevated, and modern point of view

REQUIREMENTS

• Deeply fluent in TikTok and short-form content
• A strong visual storyteller with an eye for styling, texture, and detail
• Able to create content that feels effortless but intentional
• Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera
• Organized, proactive, and able to move quickly
• Proven experience creating TikTok content (for brands or personal account)
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, or similar)
• Based in or able to shoot in NYC
• Availability to create consistent weekly content
• Background in fashion, styling or creative direction

DELIVERABLES

• 5 TikTok videos per week (flexible based on scope)
• Monthly content planning + ongoing reactive content
• Ability to support key launches and campaign moments
